Java Developer

Our clients are a large company in Malta who are looking for Java Developers of all levels for an expansion of an already existant development team.
The right candidate will have
o A B.Sc. degree in IT,
computer
Science, or an equivalent computing degree
o At least 1 - 5
years of experience in software development and related activities
o Expert knowledge of SQL and relational databases
o At least 1 year experience in Unix/Linux systems
Non Academic
Qualifications:
o Expert knowledge of at least one programming language from Java and C#
o Good knowledge of Web
services
and related integration technologies
o Familiar with JEE and related technologies such as JPA/Hibernate, JAX-WS, JMS and Spring (including Spring MVC)
o Experience with software build automation tools such as Maven and Ant
o Knowledge of testing methodologies and frameworks
o Familiar with the .Net framework and IIS (Asset)
o Familiar with BPEL orchestration language
o Familiar with design patterns and architecture best practices
o Experience with Web 2.0 technologies and techniques such as AJAX, Javascript frameworks such as JQuery and CSS
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
