Advanced Module Engineering: Sr. Process Engineer - New College Grad

GLOBALFOUNDRIES Fab8 is seeking a process engineer to become part of our state of the art 300mm advanced manufacturing team. The position will be located at GLOBALFOUNDRIES in Malta, New York, and report to functional area module manager.
The individual selected for this position will work together with other GLOBALFOUNDRIES technology development and manufacturing groups at Fab8. Employee will participate in process development activities for advanced technical nodes. Projects will include development and optimization of process for 10nm technologies and beyond, linking with other process engineering and integration groups. This position may involve the transfer of technology to our Fab8 operation groups.
Essential Responsibilities:
Collaborate with GLOBALFOUNDRIES technology development and manufacturing groups and participate in development of unit process for 14nm technology and beyond.
Perform tool startup verifications and ensure ongoing tool matching for critical processes.
Engage in continuous improvement activities on your tools and develop solutions for higher throughput and improvement in tool performance.
Designing, executing, and analyzing experiments to develop processes to meet technology (e.g. performance, yield, and reliability) and manufacturing (e.g. process stability, cost of ownership) targets.
Work with integration and device groups in the technology development and the manufacturing teams to plan and execute projects and implement solutions on schedule.
Support Integration team and Quality organization to ensure technology meet the qualification and reliability requirements.
Engage with tool suppliers to highlight new module unit process requirements and evaluate new equipment solutions.
Define and maintain module unit process and equipment roadmaps.
Transfer technology developed in Advanced Technology Development to operation group in Fab8 in Malta, NY, or other fabs if necessary.
Sustain development line, daily SPC monitoring, Cpk improvement, and troubleshooting for process and tool issues.
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications:
Education/Experience:PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or other related engineering physical science discipline
Fluency in English Language - written & verbal
Ability to relocate to Malta, NY
Understanding of various characterization techniques including SEM, TEM, SIMS and XRD.
Understanding and knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE).
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a matrixed global environment.
Familiar with Equipment, maintenance and troubleshooting concepts.
Familiar with FMEA and risk management.
Familiar in applying LEAN techniques.
Strong equipment troubleshooting and hands-on background.
Knowledge of semiconductor wafer fabrication processes.
Excellent interpersonal skills, energetic, and self starter.
Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
