Advanced Module Engineering: Process Engineer - New College Grad

GLOBALFOUNDRIES Fab8 is seeking a process engineer to become part of our state of the art 300mm advanced manufacturing team. The position will be located at GLOBALFOUNDRIES in Malta, New York, and report to functional area module manager.
The primary responsibilities of this position are to sustain manufacturing production line, do troubleshooting for process and tool issues, do daily SPC monitoring and response to SPC and CFM failure, and develop and/or optimize unit processes in order to meet process and device performance requirements for 14nm technology node and beyond. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to assist in tooling start-up, installing the processes into manufacturing, and owning the processes and the tools in manufacturing.
Essential Responsibilities:
Sustain production line, daily SPC monitoring, Cpk improvement, and troubleshooting for process and tool issues.
Perform tool startup verifications and ensure ongoing tool matching for critical processes.
Engage in continuous improvement activities on your tools and develop solutions for higher throughput and improvement in tool performance.
Improve process robustness for high volume manufacturing using statistical tools, DOE techniques, data driven decision making and systematic problem solving skills. Use lean manufacturing and six sigma processes.
Designing, executing, and analyzing experiments to develop processes to meet technology (e.g. performance, yield, and reliability) and manufacturing (e.g. process stability, cost of ownership) targets.
Work with integration and device groups in the technology development and the manufacturing teams to plan and execute projects and implement solutions on schedule.
Support Integration team and Quality organization to ensure technology meet the qualification and reliability requirements.
Engage with tool suppliers to highlight unit process issues and evaluate new process solutions.
Support the efforts of the internal technology development team
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications:
Education/Experience:MS degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics or other related engineering physical science discipline
Fluency in English Language - written & verbal
Ability to relocate to Malta, NY
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a matrixed global environment.
Familiar with Equipment, maintenance and troubleshooting concepts.
Familiar with FMEA and risk management.
Familiar in applying LEAN techniques.
Strong equipment troubleshooting and hands-on background.
Knowledge of semiconductor wafer fabrication processes.
Excellent interpersonal skills, energetic, and self starter.
Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
